COVID UPDATE 13th December 2021

The Prime Minister announced yesterday evening that he is launching an "Omicron Emergency Boost" and that everyone aged 18 and over and have had their Second Covid Vaccination at least 3 months ago will be eligible and will have the chance to get their Covid Booster before the New Year.

We have heard about these changes at the same time as you, and are doing our best to put plans in place as soon as we can. We will be having emergency meetings today in order to discuss potential options for the PCN.

Please do not contact the surgery to enquire about upcoming clinics as this will take our reception team away from clinical calls.

When we have confirmed plans we will advertise these on Facebook and our website. If you have an appointment booked please attend this as scheduled unless you are contacted directly by the practice.

COVID-19 Coronavirus

Our front door is now open, but to ensure people with COVID don't enter the practice you will have to use the thermal scanning machine to check your temperature - providing your temperature is normal the internal door will automatically open.  If you temperature is high, the internal door will remain closed and a member of staff will come to help you.

We are now offering pre-bookable face to face and telephone appointments with GP's.  Our Urgent Care Team (Urgent Care Practitioners, Urgent Care GP & Minor Illness Nurses) also offer face to face appointments bookable on the day and our Nurse and HCA appointments continue to be face to face.

If you think you have COVID-19 DO NOT come to the Medical Practice, you should ring 119 to book a test or visit 111 online for advice on what to do.  If you think you have COVID-19 and need medical attention ring 111 or 999 if it becomes an emergency.
