In an emergency you should call 999.
If you need urgent medical attention outside of our surgery hours telephone NHS 111 for less urgent health needs, contact your GP or visit your local pharmacist.
The NHS 111 service is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a team of fully trained advisers. They will ask questions to assess your symptoms to be able to identify any life threatening conditions which may require a 999 call to the ambulance service.
NHS 111 is the free number to call when you have an urgent healthcare need. It directs you to the right local service, first time.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
